“Cup of Courage” Pours into Leadership: Julianne Lang’s New Book Inspires Leaders to Lead with Grace and Grit

Charleston, SC South Carolina’s celebrated educational leader and influential voice in leadership coaching, Julianne Lang, is set to launch her first book, Cup of Courage: The Key to Leading with Grace and Grit, this January. Known for her blog and social media presence, Leadership with a Latte, Lang’s newest endeavor is poised to reach leaders from all sectors seeking inspiration, practical advice, and a heart-centered approach to leadership.

Cup of Courage draws on Lang’s extensive experience as School Leader of Lowcountry Leadership Charter School in Meggett, SC, where she’s led with dedication, empathy, and a “Blue and Gold Standard” of excellence. As a young widow and single mother, Lang brings an authentic and unique perspective to navigating life’s challenges with resilience and resolve. Her passion for serving others through both educational and personal growth is evident in her story-driven, actionable insights. Each chapter is designed to be a source of encouragement for leaders at every level, whether they’re stepping into new roles or looking to deepen their impact.

With her new book, Lang encourages readers to lead with integrity, courage, and care. The book also explores her own leadership journey, detailing how she has overcome challenges and maintained her commitment to her team and students. “Courage isn’t just about overcoming,” Lang shares. “It’s about leading with kindness, learning from every obstacle, and lifting up others along the way.”

In addition to her upcoming book, Lang’s popular blog Leadership with a Latte has already established her as a thought leader in educational and personal development spaces. With a growing readership and social media following, her blog offers weekly insights, motivational quotes, and advice on effective, compassionate leadership. Her relatable “coffee cup wisdom” has captured the attention of educators, corporate leaders, and community builders alike, creating a platform where leadership meets authenticity.

Julianne Lang’s accomplishments reflect her lifelong commitment to the success of South Carolina’s charter school students and the broader education community. Recognized in Charleston’s 40 Under 40 by the Charleston Regional Business Journal 2023 for her significant impact on education. Her expertise spans educational grant writing, student disciplinary measures, South Carolina state initiatives, Project-Based Learning and leadership development, and much more. Beyond her work with LLCS, Lang has been a passionate advocate for charter schools, working with student athletes and supporting school choice through her term as an Executive Committee Member at the SC High School League for Interscholastic Sports, and serving on the Charter Institute at Erskine’s Legislative Committee, among other pursuits.

Cup of Courage and Leadership with a Latte serve as both a tribute to Lang’s personal experiences and a guidebook for others looking to lead with compassion and purpose. As the book’s release date approaches, media representatives are invited to explore interview opportunities and learn more about Julianne’s journey and work. Readers will find that Lang’s insights extend beyond the school setting, touching on universal themes of resilience, grace, and the courage it takes to lead with an open heart.
